Stribs List

A growing list of small NYC local businesses, which remain open but could use our support during the COVID-19 crisis

--

Here’s a list of local, small businesses — our equivalent of Mom and Pop stores — which are open but could use our support during the COVID-19 crisis. If you know of small businesses which remain open doing pickup and drop-offs or deliveries and may be struggling to stay afloat and pay their rent, let me know and I’ll add them to this list. Primarily Brooklyn/Park Slope so far but I’m happy to build this out further and change platforms, too, if it grows large enough.

Purchasing gift certificates is a great way to help these businesses make rent and to minimize in-person interaction. I’ve highlighted some below.

BROOKLYN

Brooklyn Heights

Woolyn — This Atlantic Ave store allows for email orders at info@woolyn.com for pickups and delivery and a GoFundMe to help out, too. More ways to help here.

📍Carroll Gardens

Black Gold has coffee for pickup or delivery via their online store. You can also purchase gift certificates.

Svendale Brewing — This great microbrewery’s tasting room across from Black Gold remains open for pickups and is still debuting delicious…
