I have over 20 years of experience as a user experience (UX) professional—as a leader, practitioner, and educator.

I earned degrees in broadcast journalism and English. I completed a certificate in political journalism at Georgetown University and studied creative writing at Southampton College in New York. I studied privacy and data security and cyberterrorism at Georgetown and NYU respectively. And I recently completed a certificate at NYU’s Center for Global Affairs.

I've written many book, art, and music reviews, feature articles and even award-winning fiction. I’ve written extensively on the topic of immigration in the U.S. for Medium and The Huffington Post. My writing has featured in numerous publications, including Skyscraper, Make, Zmag.com, Creative Loafing, The Charleston Post-Courier, The Korea Herald, Huffington Post, The Observer and Open Global Rights.

Born in Perth, Western Australia, I live in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve been fortunate to travel on every continent, including Antarctica.

You can also find me on Mastodon, Bluesky and Threads.

Thanks for stopping by.
